Assembly and care

Six bolts, one hex key and about the length of a podcast episode. Then a handful of habits that decide how long it stays tight.

Before you start

Open the carton flat on the floor and count the hardware against the sheet before anything else. A missing bolt found at step one is a message to the seller; a missing bolt found at step five is a half-built table in the middle of the room. The brand's own build video sits on the home page, and it is one unedited run of a C-table, which is the honest length.

The build, in order

  1. Lay the frame parts out the way the sheet shows them. The C-arm and the two rails look symmetrical and are not.
  2. Start every bolt before tightening any of them. Panel holes have a little tolerance and you need all of it.
  3. Tighten in a cross pattern, the way you would a wheel, so the top does not pull to one side.
  4. Fit the top last, printed face up, edge-banding checked for chips before you commit.
  5. Stand it, then set the feet. Wind the low foot down until all four carry weight.
  6. Re-tighten at week four. The board settles around the inserts; one pass and it stays put for years.

Living with it

  • Damp cloth, mild soap, dry immediately. No ammonia, no bleach, no solvent: the topcoat is thin by design.
  • Coasters are not decoration. Water at a seam swells the panel core, and swelling does not reverse.
  • Do not stand on it. These frames are rated for laptops and lamps, not for changing a light bulb.
  • Scratches take a furniture marker, not sandpaper. The decor layer is printed, so sanding removes the pattern.
  • Carts: lock the braked wheels and load the lower shelf heavier than the upper one.

If something is wrong

Hardware and small parts are usually shipped free by the seller through the listing, without a return. Damage to a panel is a return in the normal window through your own order. Either way the conversation happens on the listing, where it is public and answered.

Materials and what each one tolerates are covered on the materials page.
